FAA Level 3 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults

Rhys is a qualified teacher with his MA in Outdoor Education, who has experience working with groups from all backgrounds in a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. This has assisted in gaining an insight into the issues different work forces can face and how to best protect yourself and those in your charge.

This one day (7 hour) course, gives you the knowledge and understanding surrounding safeguarding principles. Information I cover on this Ofqual/ Qualifications Wales course includes;

• Safeguarding Legislation and Guidance
  
• Indicators of abuse and neglect
• Making judgements
• Communicating worries and concerns
• Roles and responsibilities
• Sharing information
• Allegations and complaints
• Reporting allegations and complaints

The above list is a guide, in certain environments, some aspects are more useful than others. I can also provide additional training for certain groups, i.e. additional paediatric first aid etc.
